Terms

LCS Price Map is a directory of local coin shops and a place to publish shopper-reported prices. It is not a dealer, not a broker, and not an offer to buy or sell metal.

Prices

A published price is what someone submitted, after an automated check against live spot. It can be wrong, old, or for a different quantity than you will be offered. Confirmed means two or more independent reports, not that the shop agreed to the number. Check with the shop before you travel.

Sample prices, when shown, are labeled. They exist so the site can be reviewed before real reports exist. Do not treat them as quotes.

Your report

You may submit a price you were actually quoted. Do not submit a price you invented, a price for a shop you did not visit, or someone else's personal information in the note. We may reject, unpublish, or keep a report. You grant us a license to display the price, the date, the coin, and the shop.

Shops

Shop names and addresses come from Overture Maps. A shop can ask for a correction. Featured placement, when it is sold, is advertising and is labeled. It is not an endorsement and it does not include editorial control of reports.

No warranty

The site is provided as is. We do not warrant that a shop is open, that a price is available, or that spot and online figures are current. Spot is refreshed about once an hour from a public feed and can be delayed or replaced with the last cached figure. The first paint uses labeled sample numbers until that request returns.
