The Kansas City candidate pull scanned 106,653 place records in the metro bounding box and kept 423 broad matches. The published list is the 15 records the classifier treated as coin or bullion dealers.

Places licenses

The places theme is published under CDLA Permissive 2.0 and Apache 2.0, depending on the source. It does not include OpenStreetMap data. Source list, from the Overture attribution page:

Individual shop records keep the dataset and license Overture attached. We did not copy Google Places, and we did not copy another coin-shop directory.

Maps

The pin map uses CARTO basemap tiles built from OpenStreetMap data. Those tiles are a display, not a copy of OpenStreetMap into this directory. Attribution on the map: © OpenStreetMap contributors, © CARTO. The “open in OpenStreetMap” link is a link out.

Prices

Live spot is loaded in the browser from /api/spot. That function tries gold-api.com, then the Swissquote public quote, then Metals.dev if METALS_DEV_API_KEY is set. The HTML includes labeled sample numbers so a figure is still there when JavaScript or every feed is unavailable. Shop prices are shopper reports or, until the first real report is published, labeled sample reports. Online asks are configured placeholders.
